People have commented a lot on PoE injectors, ceiling mount, wall mount, side of house mount, centre-mount, etc etc ...The entry-level model is the AX1800-rated UniFi U6-Lite, priced at just £81, but here we’ve tested the top-dog U6-LR. At £159 it’s almost twice the price, but it’s still well within reach of an SMB budget, and the extra money gets you a speedy AX3000 rating. Unusually, the U6-LR also supports the high-performance 160MHz channel width ...The Pro was constantly out of stock and the LR was available at the time I needed the equipment. The biggest advantage to the U6-Pro is it supports the WiFi 6 protocols on the 2.4 MHz band, where the LR is only Wifi 5 on the 2.4 MHz. "Wi-Fi 6 can be faster due to technologies like traffic prioritization, OFDMA, and beamforming."Using 80 MHz channels, the Wi-Fi 5 models maxed out at a typical 867 Mbps data rate, while the U6-Lite, U6-LR, and U6-Pro top out at 1200 Mbps. Wait for better AP's. The U6-LR does not have AX for 2.4 GHz and it is missing the Wifi 6e. This. I was only ever excited for AX for the boost to the 2.4ghz speed. But that seems to be missing from many APs and Clients. Without that, what wifi6/ac brings to the 5ghz space is lackluster, does not justify price. The 6 LR (for long range) should have a longer transmission range. This may not always be desired, for example in dense deployments, if you want a dense deployment ap with higher speeds than the 6light you might be stuck with the ac pro’s as the 6 pro is still in early access, or by reducing transmission power on the lr’s (maybe).

Laugh while you can, monkey boy. That said, U6-Pro is a big upgrade from U6-Lite, Congrats! Now stick the U6-Lite in some weird corner where your Wi-Fi sucks. Depends on your environment I suppose, but the U6 Pro is excellent here. Top notch. And this seems to make sense as UniFi 6 LR is 4x4 for 2.4GHz with better range, compared to 2x2 on the UniFi 6 Pro. The thing that makes me confused is the rated speeds from the datasheet. Both the LR and Pro claims 6.5 Mbps to 600 Mbps (MCS0 - MCS31, HT 20/40).
