You get auto syncing pre- and post-game. It was added to HBL v2.5.0. I just added the heroic launcher as non steam game and launch the game through there. Have all the possibilities. Literally any analog stick that's ever existed can do that when they're new and you release it when it's slightly off center. You can add a 0.1 dead zone or recalibrate or both and it won't be an issue. Stick drift is a different issue where the actual component over time wears out and registers incorrectly.The keyboard/mouse-mapped controller profile works, but it's not enjoyable in the slightest. It sucks as well cause the game appears to run really well on the Deck. I'm hoping once there are more Steam Decks out in the wild someone will make a mod to get things working. Fingers crossed!
2. The back buttons aren't really additional inputs, but they can be mapped to any other button on the controller (or assigned a macro of existing buttons). They won't give you the flexibility of the steam decks back buttons. 3. I don't think there's really a way to wake the deck other than using the power button.

It's absolutely stunning that it runs on the deck, but come on, it looks very much low res, even with FSR2.0, and it barely touches even 30, 30+ fps, most of the times it fluctuates under 30. Hey guys! I recently got the Jsaux dock, and I was hoping I might be able to use the Steam Deck as an actual controller as well, so I got a 6 foot USB-C extension 10Gbps. When I plug the extension cable in, it doesn't display on my TV but does turn the Deck's display off (which I knew might happen with an extension cable).

Yes and no, the deck CAN be used as a controller, but they went about it a odd way. You have to use steam link to do it, which requires internet. I hope they put in some way to do it without link in a future update but they haven't announced anything yet. As far as second screen, it will only show what's on your desktop which will be the game ...
